^67 (A)Then they ^(B)spit in His face and beat Him with their fists; and others ^[a]slapped Him,

^31 (A)Now He took the twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, ^(B)we are going up to Jerusalem, and ^(C)all the things that have been written through the prophets about the Son of Man will be accomplished.

³³ and after they have flogged Him, they will kill Him; and on the third day He will rise.”

¹⁰ He was in the world, and ^(A)the world came into being through Him, and yet the world did not ^[a]know Him. ¹¹ He came to His ^[b]own, and His own people did not ^[c]accept Him.

³⁷ But though He had performed so many ^[a]signs in their sight, they still were not believing in Him. ³⁸ This happened so that the word of Isaiah the prophet which he spoke would be fulfilled: “^(A)Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”
